Absolutely amazing video! Thanks for sharing. One forest professor I heard speak said that when we walk in an old forest, we are literally walking on the backs of elephants. Those elephants are the huge root and microrhizal systems underground, that create communities of fungi (mushrooms), and non-chlorophyll plants (formerly call saprophytes.
