Greetings Dear Treewhispers!
I sent you a PM on facebook regarding an effort underway to save 99 ash trees in Ravenswood Manor (a national historic district in Chicago).
Here also is the message: Dear Treewhispers, May I bring to your attention this crisis underway? My neighborhood is one of 100 yr old tree-lined streets, a gorgeous and beneficial asset to the community (and planet, of course). I do not wish to presume that fundraising is the prerogative of Treewhispers, but if advocacy is within the purview of your project and celebration of trees, please consider participating and sharing this effort.
“ICYMI: The city is no longer inoculating ash trees and approx. 100 trees in our area are overdue and will die without it. The Ravenswood Manor Improvement Association is collecting donations this month so we can save our beautiful canopy throughout the neighborhood. PLEASE consider donating and saving your parkway ash tree or others on your block. ”
