Remembering Marilyn

Teacher, mentor, collaborator, friend…with Marilyn still so close to my heart it’s hard to believe it’s been 13 years since her passing. Marilyn’s dedication to the art and craft of handmade paper and teaching was only surpassed by the dedication and love she shared with her family.

I’m forever grateful for her influence and gifts—our connection.

Thank You Pamela for this remembrance … it is always a shock these days to realize how fast and fleeting is this time we have on Earth, to show up. My brother and I were always amazed by our sister Marilyn’s “pace” – seemed like a whirlwind to us. Perhaps she had some mystical, magical awareness that she had to move quickly with what ever time she had to show up and make her contribution. Much love to you for your dedication to Tree Whispers, Art and stirring up “good trouble” for the awakening of humanity by reverence for Nature and Trees!!! Bud
