Pamela, This is such a great way to engage children and adults to be mindful of trees. I’m reminded to share a brief story from the Dalai Lama, he was asked how we teach compassion to children and he suggested that we encourage them to be kind to the smallest insects… perhaps some of the children’s rounds could include the insects that live in harmony with trees. :)

Grateful for your connection and response, Bud. And yes, what a beautiful thought —being mindful of even the smallest of insects—particularly poignant in here as we’re enjoying the symphony of both the 17 and 13 year cicada emergence.
